Dr. Grivas always knew he wanted to work in the medical field, and care for patients. He studied at Southern Adventist University where he became a Registered Nurse. He spent 8 years working as a nurse, before deciding to pursue a career in dentistry. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. Dr. Grivas opened the doors to his practice more than a decade ago, and has enjoyed working with the greater Sacramento area patients to meet their dental needs. His kindness and desire to help others make Dr. Grivas a patient favorite, and he has developed lasting relationships with his patients and their families over the past decade.
Because he believes providing customers the most up-to-date, effective dental care, Dr. Grivas participates in regular continuing education courses including the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies continuum, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation training, and Mercer University practice management training. He is an active member of numerous professional organizations including the International Association of Mercury Free Dentists.
Dr. Grivas has been recognized by the International Dental Implant Association for his continued dedication to the IDIA and was awarded Fellowship status within the organization. In order to reach this level of membership, Dr. Grivas demonstrated increasing proficiency within implant dentistry.
A native of Atlanta, GA, Dr. Grivas fell in love with Sacramento while attending Loma Linda University, and decided to establish his practice here. He is happily married to Rebekah, and they have two daughters. In his rare moments of free time, Dr. Grivas loves spending time outdoors and time spent with family. He also enjoys making his own wine to share with family and friends.
