Welcome to the Future of Dentistry

If you want a solution for tooth replacement that has a success rate higher than any other dental procedure, an implant is the perfect restorative option. Implants, however, are not a quick fix. Sacramento dentist, Dr. Scott Grivas says, "The process does take time, but the results are well worth it."

An implant is an ideal option for anyone who needed an extraction because of periodontal disease, excessive decay, a tooth knocked out during a sporting injury — or for those who are ready to move on from wearing dentures.

Durability is the hallmark of the implant. If you take good care of it, your implant has the potential to last for the rest of your life. No other restorative option can substantiate that kind of claim.

Dr. Grivas has established a partnership with several local oral surgeons and periodontists who handle the placement of the implant. We step in afterward to provide the restoration. In certain cases, we can complete both aspects of the procedure within 72 hours - dramatically accelerating the healing process.

For predictable success over a great length of time, an implant has become a superior, healthier and more cost-effective option. Learn more by scheduling an appointment with Dr. Scott Grivas today.

Explore Multiple Implant Options

Your implant decision begins with a thorough exam and accurate diagnosis. We invest plenty of time to make sure that an implant truly is the best option for your situation - as opposed to a bridge, crown or other restorative solution.

Once the diagnosis is complete, we conduct a CT scan to check for bone quality and density. If needed, Dr. Grivas will perform pre-prosthetic work. The technology we use also presents the option of same-day CEREC restorations in conjunction with the implant process, or traditional lab-created solutions.

If you opt to take the CEREC route, your chewing pressure will return faster and movement of your teeth attempting to fill the space left by your missing tooth will be stopped sooner. If you select the lab process, you have a little extra time to make sure the restoration fits well and looks great.

The healing process usually takes 3-4 months. In both cases, the result is the same: an implant that is beautiful, durable and indistinguishable from the rest of your teeth.
